I left for a week with only a post about my utter appreciation for Matthew Mitcham. While my adoration for the young Aussie remains, I wasn't purposefully trying to get everyone else to bask in his greatness. Rather, I escaped down to Florida for a much needed R&R between summer courses ending and work / school restarting next week. No phone and no internet was my creed; I tried to effectively cut myself from everyone but my family as I sat back and read. Hmm, there is a lot to speak about though... I should be detailing this stuff over the next few days: Obama's Speech, Hillary's speech, the two books I finished (Reading Lolita in Tehran and The World Without Us) and my unnatural purple skin color (thanks Florida sun).
