I want to be creative.
I let my creative side fall to the wayside and I want it back. I want to paint and become a good painter. I want to draw something beyond just people, cause I feel like often times its the same character over and over. I get compliments on my art, but I know good art and mine is mediocre. I am going to take art lessons one of these days, maybe when my schedule busts down.
I want to write. I get psyched out by the the process of writing though. I can bullshit my way brilliantly through a paper, but the reality is that I am fearful of fiction. I think my dialogue turns to trite. I really have to be a better listener, see the world around me and take it all in. Then use that information to try and type things out. I can sit and reflect brilliantly, cause I am good at breaking down and analysis. But seeing things for what they are in front of me? Kinds of hard. So to try and make a promise to myself, I am going to start writing on this webpage more. Different types of writing. I've been updating more often, and that was part of the promise to myself. So one day dedicated to politics, still one with the school literary stuff, but three days to something I am going to work on. A serial if you will... a soapish plot. Called "The Winding Road". I wanted to start tonight, but I might push it back because for the last three hours I've been freaking out about getting started.
