AfterElton.com really is a brilliant site. It tracks gay cinema / music / entertainment in general, which opens up giant avenues to me. This is how I discovered my Nuke, my Ollian, my McDean, and hopefully someday other couples who will equal these inspiring duos. Recently, there was a reader response poll that asked for the top Gay Cinema. I participated and was rather surprised to find that my pics all landed right on top. JP & Craig. Oh Hollyoaks, you entered in my life in a fleeting moment of August and consumed me for months as I digested every second of this storyline. They got their sunset ending, riding off and overcoming obstacles. Finally together, off the show, and although there is no guarantees... they had their epic last song together. Brilliant.

They provided the name for my Fantasy Football Team (who lost this week after having a three week winning streak :( The Rainbow Nukes! Inspired by NUKE: Luke and Noah. As the World Turns stepped ahead of their cohorts in daytime television by allowing the first ever male/male kiss on TV. Here it is, in all it's glory.

And so we'll begin my exploration of gay couples on television. Of course, the USA is really lax with the gayness on tv, so what does that leave us? Well we go overseas, where McDean or Ollian make waves. First up is my current obsession, Oliver and Christian (the before mentioned Ollian), from the German soap "Forbidden Love". Here's the scene where our young men finally sealed the deal. Click on the link and you'll go to the land of youtube, where the entire story has been posted (With all the other non Ollian snippets removeed). These two straight actors do an amazing job catching the emotion of these guys; you truly believe they are in love.
