Huh?
I am rather disappointed at the moment with
Huffington Post. Yesterday, to my surprise,
Iowa's Supreme Court ruled that a Gay Marriage Ban in that state was illegal. Couples will be awarded the right to start marrying on April 24th of that year. This was shocking news: It's not a "liberal" state up North that's recognizing these rights. This is a state that sits in the midwest, among the more religious minded of us Americans. To be finally able to marry there, well that's a huge step forward into convincing people that allowing gays to marry is not going to be the end of their world. So this is rather big news for the Gays. Huffington Post? It never had a main article. I understand there was a shooting yesterday and that was terrible, but skimming the main page... There's not even a little article. Or a mention. Anywhere? And this is supposed to be a leading liberal blog? Seriously, WTF?
